2nd Annual Perfect Pairing Wine Tasting Fundraiser Presented by Raise the Barr
Raise the Barr (RTB) presents it's 2nd Annual Perfect Pairing wine tasting fundraiser to celebrate the launch of the LA-Based RTB Emergency Grant for Single Parent Scholars in addition to other grants. Proceeds will benefit this new fund, as well as other Raise the Barr initiatives that assist single parent scholars.
RTB is committed to breaking the cycle of poverty for low-income single- parent families by providing single parents access to a post secondary education or certification. Their motto is "IT'S ABOUT MORE THAN TUITION."
Anthony Barr, linebacker for the Vikings and his mother Lori started the charitable foundation to help single parents with life challenges while they attend school. Raise the Barr is now successfully providing assistance to single parents in Anthony's hometown of Los Angeles as well as Minnesota.
